You know how to function under pressure.

The question is: what happens when the pressure stops?

As a healthcare professional, you are used to demanding days...

You move from one patient to the next, make decisions under pressure, deal with interruptions and unexpected situations, and keep going when there is little time to pause.

And you are probably very good at it.

You can still show up for your patients. You can still make the decisions that need to be made. You can still get through a demanding shift.

But perhaps you recognise what happens when the demands stop.

You arrive home, yet your mind is still at work. You feel tired, but find it difficult to switch off. You notice less patience at home, tension that lingers in your body, or a mind that becomes particularly active just when you want to sleep.

Because you're still functioning, it is easy to assume that nothing is really wrong.

Or that this is simply part of working in healthcare.

FUNCTIONING IS NOT THE SAME AS RECOVERING.

And what do we often do?

We wait for things to calm down. ↓ After this shift. After this week. When the rota improves. When we've caught up on sleep. When this demanding period is finally over.

Sometimes the circumstances do become easier. But even then, we might notice that we are unable to wind down, that the mental chatter continues and that we don't recover the way we would like to.

And we know that another busy day is just around the corner.

If your ability to find calm depends entirely on the world around you becoming calmer, you are relying on something you cannot control.

What if there were another place to intervene?

What if you could learn to deliberately influence your physiological state, even when you cannot immediately change what is happening around you?

That is the skill I want to introduce you to in this masterclass.

Your Breath

Your breath is more than something that happens in the background.

Most of us rarely pay attention to the way we breathe unless something draws our attention to it.

Yet the breath gives us a practical way to influence our physiological state.

Not an hour-long yoga practice.
Not a quiet room.
Not stepping away every time something stressful happens.

It starts with learning how to work with the breath deliberately.

During From Reactive to Regulated, I will show you the physiology behind this and guide you through the practices so you can experience them for yourself.

Yes, I Want to Learn How →

This is not about adding another thing to your to-do list.

It's about having something available to you when you need it.

01

Understand what is happening

Understand how stress affects your physiological state—and why activation can continue after the demanding moment has passed.

02

Learn two practical techniques

Learn and experience two yogic breathing practices that allow you to consciously influence your physiological state.

03

Know when to use them

Understand when and how you can use these techniques during and after a demanding working day.

04

Practise, not just listen

We will practise together during the masterclass, so this doesn't remain interesting information that disappears when you close your laptop.

05

Leave with a practical resource

You will receive a workbook to support the session and keep as a reference afterwards.

You don't need to be “good at yoga” for this.

  • No previous yoga experience
  • No flexibility required
  • No special equipment
  • No perfect environment

You simply need to be willing to learn a different way of working with your physiological state.

For €27, you will leave with something you can actually use.

Not another theory. Not another thing to remember. A practical skill you can take with you into your working day.

Why I'm Teaching This

Because I know the reality of working in healthcare.

I have worked as a hospital pediatrician for more than a decade, so I know the reality of working in an environment where the demands do not simply disappear when you need time to recover.

My own experience led me to explore yoga and meditation more deeply and eventually complete extensive yoga teacher training.

As a doctor, I also wanted to understand the science behind the practices I was learning.

That combination of medicine, evidence and yoga now shapes the way I teach: practical techniques that can be used within the reality of a demanding healthcare career.

Practical techniques. Grounded in understanding. Designed for real life.

If you are still functioning,
you do not need to wait until you aren't.

You do not have to wait until stress has become overwhelming before learning how to work with it differently.

You may not be able to control how demanding your next shift will be, how many interruptions you will face or what will walk through the door.

But you can learn more about what happens within you in response to those demands.

And you can learn practical skills to deliberately influence that response and find your way back during and afterwards.
